Crowded Homes began with a simple, personal vision: to create a virtual home that felt like it belonged in both the digital and real worlds. In 2022, after searching and failing to find a home that truly matched my taste and needs, I decided to build one myself in Second Life.
What started as a passion project quickly gained attention, and soon, I was creating custom prim-based homes for others who, like me, wanted more from their virtual living spaces. Driven by a love for design and the desire to push boundaries, I found myself on a journey to redefine what a virtual home could be.
In June 2023, Crowded Homes officially launched as a store with our first mesh home, The Solo Villa. Originally built as a prim-based project, The Solo Villa was transformed into a high-quality mesh design, offering unmatched realism, detail, and elegance. This transition marked a turning point for Crowded Homes, setting the standard for luxury and immersion in the metaverse.
With the success of The Solo Villa, Crowded Homes became synonymous with high-quality architecture and sophisticated, modern spaces, quickly building a loyal community of Second Life residents who appreciate the blend of aesthetics and functionality.
Today, Crowded Homes is more than just a collection of homes; it’s a movement to elevate virtual living. We take part in the biggest events across Second Life, continually innovating and introducing new designs. Our mainstore sim is crafted to reflect the iconic feel of Los Angeles, giving visitors a taste of the luxury lifestyle we bring to virtual spaces.
Additionally, our exclusive vacation retreat offers residents a luxurious getaway, creating a holistic virtual experience where style, comfort, and interaction converge.
